Take a leisurely walk through the grounds, perhaps savouring a cocktail on the terrace, and let nature do the rest.
Since 2016, our park has been home to 80,000 honey bees, happily residing in their own miniature version of the hotel. As they fly through our gardens and across the city’s green spaces, they diligently collect nectar for our Baur au Lac honey. Enjoy the sweet floral notes at the breakfast table, or take a jar home for a memorable taste of life at Baur au Lac.
Every year, shortly before Art Basel begins, our beautiful gardens are transformed into a coveted art space showcasing world-renowned artists and emerging talent alike.
Curated by Gigi Kracht, last year we celebrated our 21st anniversary of Art in the Park with the award-winning sculptor Thomas J Price. The exhibition featured seven striking sculptures alongside an incredible collection of Annie Leibovitz photographs.
